Collision In Penyffordd: Appeal

Officers are appealing for witnesses after a car collided and ended up on its roof in the Penyffordd area last week (Monday, July 15th).
Shortly before 9pm police were notified of a one-vehicle collision on the A494 involving a white coloured Ford Sierra Sapphire Cosworth.
The driver sustained minor injuries and the passenger was taken to hospital with serious, non-life threatening injuries.
Investigating Officer, PC Emma Birrell of the Roads Policing Unit said: “The car is quite distinctive and I am hoping that anybody who witnessed the collision, or who saw the car being driven just prior to colliding to come forward.
“Around the time of the incident a grey car was travelling in the opposite direction and we are appealing for the driver to contact us. Equally anybody who has dash cam footage to come forward and help with our investigation.”
