Nova's Play Area Section Closed Due To Roof Damage

Denbighshire Leisure Ltd has announced that the play area at the Nova, Prestatyn has been closed temporarily following damage to a section of the roof during Storm Dennis on Sunday.

A five metre section of the roof has was affected by the winds and contractors have visited the site on Monday to inspect the damage and to look at fixing the issue.

The damaged section is located directly above the play area and internal scaffolding will need to be put in place to reach the affected section of the roof and to carry out the repairs as quickly as possible.

For health and safety reasons the play area will need to remain closed until this work has been completed.

The remainder of the facilities at the Nova are completely unaffected by this and is fully operational. The swimming timetable is running as normal.

Denbighshire Leisure Ltd will keep people informed of progress with this work and would like to thank users of the Nova for their understanding and co-operation.
