Crime Scene Day 2021

Crime Scene Day 2021

Friday 19th Apr 2024

Wrexham Glyndŵr University’s successful high-profile Crime Scene Day learning exercise returns for a third year running next month, but this time will be held virtually due to the current situation.

Read about the 2019 edition and the 2020 edition, to get a taste of how the Crime Scene Day has run in the past. 2021’s virtual edition will be held on Wednesday 10th March.

Lecturer Andrew Crawford, who teaches on the BA (Hons) Professional Policing course, and founded the Crime Scene Day, outlines what to expect this year:

“The Crime Scene Day, which forms as an assessment for a number of courses, has become a regular fixture in our calendar, but as a result of the restrictions, this year’s edition will be in the form of an online ‘whodunit’ murder mystery.

“For Crime Scene Day 2021, we’ll have a number of experts on hand during the day, they will be providing guidance and support to the investigation team and participants, as well as being available to offer expert opinion and views as the day progresses.”
