Fire In Rhyd Uchaf - Update

Firefighters have withdrawn from firefighting activities at the wildfire at Rhyd Uchaf, Gwynedd this evening due to safety implications of operating in darkness.

However, firefighters will be monitoring the incident throughout the night and crews will resume firefighting at first light tomorrow.

We are aware that the fire can be seen for miles and there is no need for the public to call us regarding this incident.
