Tribute Issued Following A Fatal Collision In Amlwch

The man who died following a road traffic collision on an unclassified road between Amlwch and Rhosgoch on Wednesday night has been named.

Jamie Thomas Stubbs was 22-years-old and came from the Rhosgoch area. He was a Farm Labourer.

His family have issued the following tribute to him:

“Jamie was a very much loved by his Mum, Dad, Brother and Sister and will be sadly missed.”

Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses to the collision which happened shortly after 10pm and involved a blue-coloured Ford Fiesta.

An ambulance was called, however, sadly, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Raymond Williams of the Roads Policing Unit is continue to appeal for any witnesses to come forward. He said: “Our thoughts remain with Jamie’s family at this difficult time.

“We are continuing to appeal to anybody who may have been travelling in the vicinity and who may have seen a pedestrian to contact us. We are also interested to hear from anybody who had been driving in the area just prior to the collision and who may have dash cam footage that could assist with our investigation.”
