Llandudno Flyover Work Nearly Complete

Work is going well on the Llandudno Junction flyover. Our contractors have finished the main surfacing work and begun installing movement joints.
We expect the flyover to be open by the evening of Wednesday 5 July. The inner lane of the Weekly News roundabout will remain closed for several days, but all roads leading to and from the roundabout will be fully accessible.
The flyover has been closed since last Monday, 19 June, to allow safe working for reconstructing the road and replacing the bridge expansion joints.
The Council is working with the North Mid Wales Trunk Road agent to use the closure to carry out other essential maintenance along Conway Road.
Contractors have been working since 17 April on the bridge refurbishment, replacing waterproofing and drainage.
The work was initially scheduled to finish on 20 July.
