Update In Relation To The Crossbow Shooting In Holyhead

Despite the best efforts of paramedics and the medical staff who have treated Gerald Corrigan, he has tragically died this morning, Saturday 11th May, as a result of the horrendous injuries he sustained after being shot with a crossbow bolt outside his home address by South Stack Road, Holyhead, early on Friday morning,19th April.  

DCI Brian Kearney said: “This is a truly shocking case and our thoughts are with Gerald’s family and friends at this very sad time. The family continue to be supported by Specially Trained Family Liaison Officers.”

Police are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
